Training
Our training programs provide immersive, hands-on learning experiences designed to build practical skills in geothermal resource exploration, assessment, and decision-making. Through a combination of concise expert-led lectures and progressive, real-world exercises, participants work in small collaborative teams to develop conceptual models, interpret geoscience data, evaluate uncertainty, and make informed technical and economic decisions across the full lifecycle of geothermal projects.
These workshops are grounded in realistic case studies and simulate real-world exploration and development scenarios—from early-stage prospect evaluation through drilling decisions and power plant commitment. Participants gain direct experience integrating geology, geochemistry, geophysics, well data, and economic considerations, with iterative feedback at each stage to reinforce learning. Offered in both in-person and virtual formats, our trainings are designed for professionals seeking a deeper, applied understanding of geothermal systems and the decision frameworks that guide successful project outcomes.
